how to get a free Spoth's Farm shirt

The following anecdote is too funny and totally random.

My dad recently received in the mail a torn up old Spoth's Farm shirt with the following letter:

Mr. Spoth,
Mandy gave me this shirt in I believe 1998, if memory serves me. Now she didn't just hand it over, I had to beg and plead and threaten over an entire year of eating lunch together (she was unfortunate enough to be stuck at our table). Over the seven years I've owned this shirt, it has been through hurricanes, Mardi Gras, tornados, JazzFest, floods, and even to New Zealand. Needless to say it is one of my favorite shirts, and not to mention a great form of free advertisement for your business. Now I recently suffered a humiliating fall on my bike. While my pride was hurt, the real casualty was quite obviously my shirt. I think you can probably guess where I'm going here... I would like a new one. I'm happy to pay for it, so please call, email, fax, mail, wire, or even pony express how much and it'll be done. Thanks so much and please say hello to Mandy & Big Ed.
(author's name has been omitted for privacy)

What some will do for a vintage Spoth's Farm shirt. Of course they sent him a new one (well, probably vintage), and for free. I guess all it takes is a witty letter and a shout-out to Big Ed. Go figure.

let's just say I would drive by his house everytime I came to pick you up for a movie.

I don't want to broadcast it loud and clear, out of respect, so I will email you.

I must have failed to mention that even I, the farmer's daughter, have trouble getting my hands on t-shirts. My son, the only grandchild of my parents, the only great-grandchild of my grandma, has no shirt (well, he does, but I thought for arguments sake it would be more compelling if he didn't).

In conclusion, pinkmeanspussy, there will need to be at least a year of begging, if not more, if you want it that bad.
