Here are the diapers I've made. The neon green one is called an AIO or All-In-One, which means that you just pop it on the little tyke and it's absorbant and waterproof all in one piece. The four others are just covers, which means they are waterproof but you have to put an actual diaper inside to absorb all the pee and catch all the poo. I'll probably make some fitted diapers, which are the absorbant layers to go under the covers, and I will use plain old prefolds like our mothers (and fathers???) used on us. The exciting part of doing it that way is that you no longer use pins! There's this crazy thing called a snappi which holds the cloth diaper on, but can in no way harm your baby like those old fashioned pins would.
For a quick cloth diapering tutorial, check out the Diaper Shop's page on cloth diaper styles. Because I know you're so interested!!!
