a question of procedure

So what happens when you are on the phone with your friend and she tells you she's living with a BOY but she can't tell you any more than that because said BOY is sitting with her while she speaks to you on the phone?

• She can't say, "Oh, we're just friends." Because what if it might be something more?

• She can't say, "He's my boyfriend." Because maybe it's very boyfriend-ish but not quite - yet.

• She can't say, "Well, he's totally cute." Because then she would blush.

So what happens? She makes a comment on your blog explaining all the details.
